The New Orleans-style creole food at Toulouse Petit is outstanding, especially if you stick with the usual suspects like BBQ shrimp with grits and/or seafood gumbo. Plus, the antique-ish dining room is an exciting space with a lot of activity, so it works for big celebrations like a birthday, anniversary, or finally paying off your mortgage.
B’s Po Boy is a New Orleans-themed restaurant in West Seattle with a great fried shrimp sandwich (but some other dishes we don’t like as much).
Witness is a Southern-style brunch spot in Capitol Hill that makes you feel like you’re in Georgia. That’s a good thing.
Oddfellows is a French Bistro, espresso bar, and old-school grocery store in Capitol Hill. It’s good for a lot of things, but especially brunch.
