Probably one of the most Brooklyn-y Brooklyn things to exist, The Lot Radio is an online radio station that live streams from a shipping container on an empty triangular lot. And also, they serve coffee and snacks and beer from said shipping container. If it’s a nice day and you need a place to meet someone, The Lot is an excellent choice when you want something outdoors that’s a bit different from your usual brunch place or coffee shop.

Taylor St. Baristas
Taylor St. Baristas is an Australian-style coffee shop in Midtown with breakfast/lunch foods and a little dining room upstairs.
Smile To Go
The crowd at Smile To Go is trendy, but the food isn't. The salads, soups, and sandwiches are simple, fresh, and some of our favorite in Soho.
Variety Coffee Roasters
If you need to sit and get some work done and Williamsburg, try Variety. There's always an open seat, the wifi is free, and the coffee isn't bad.
