Khao Nom is a counter-service spot from the people behind Khao Kang, another counter-service Thai that’s just a few feet away. Unlike Khao Kang, the food here is made to order, and the menu consists of things like curry puffs, khao man gai, and khao moo dang with a soft boiled egg and three kinds of pork. It’s a great spot for a quick sit-down meal (at a table made from an antique sewing machine), and the desserts here are especially good. Get a few to take home on your way out.
