Right under the Williamsburg bridge is Donna, a whitewashed cocktail spot that’s one of the best-looking bars in Brooklyn. The all-white, plant-covered space and tropical cocktails make you feel like you’re somewhere in Mexico. It’s a low-key spot to sit at the bar with a date on weeknights, and it turns into a party when they have DJs spinning on weekends. It’s also a great choice for a birthday bar outing.

The NoMad Bar
Thanks to the prices, this casual(ish) bar in The NoMad hotel probably isn’t a place that you can afford to visit often. But when you do, eat dessert.
Looking for a good place to post up for a night of game watching, beer drinking, and good grubbing? Reservoir is the place to do it. Underrated bar food.
Clyde Frazier's Wine and Dine
In truth, without a basketball court and Walt Clyde Frazier's involvement, we wouldn’t be talking about the Wine and Dine. The space is massive, the layout is clunky, but the food is pretty good. If you're a hoops fan, it's a must visit.
