This mini-mart located between Seward Park and Rainier Beach serves some of the best fried chicken in the city. While you could pop in for Funyuns and Twinkies, the glow of hot lamps and deep fryer smells will lead you to the good stuff waiting in a glass case. Basking under lightbulbs are jojos, fries, and drumettes, but it’s safe to skip all that. You’re there for the colossal chicken wings that are constantly fried fresh. They’re perfectly golden, and taste even better doused in Frank’s Red Hot.
