Bar Jabroni

From the team behind Palm City, Bar Jabroni is a Lower Haight wine bar and small plates restaurant that feels like a dinner party you can stroll into uninvited. With big windows looking out onto Haight St., rustic-looking yellow-tiled counters, and strangers mingling across the bar, it’s the intimate, relaxed neighborhood spot that the Lower Haight has been missing. The short food menu is all over the place (in a good way), but the best way to enjoy your time is to grab a small bite like the decadent potato gnocchi, and split one bigger dish (like the tender braised wagyu beef cheeks) with the person you’re desperately trying to impress.
