About as close as you can get to Barcelona in Portland, Ataula is a great Northwest spot to start a night out, with a wide range of tapas and entrées, cocktails, and wine. You can grab a seat at the bar and split some paella with a date or sit at one of the communal tables and cover your table with tapas plates. The boquerones and beef tartare with house potato chips are two of our favorites, but it’s really impossible to go wrong.
Han Oak is an upscale Korean restaurant located in a beautiful garage with a courtyard off Sandy Boulevard that you’ll want to live in.
Broder Nord is an all-day Scandinavian spot in North Portland with breakfast seven days a week and dishes that are as good as they are hard to say.
Renata is an Eastside Italian restaurant with a nice patio, a big wine list, and great pizzas and pastas.
Tusk is an East Burnside Mediterranean restaurant where you’ll eat bright plates of fruits and vegetables and dip flatbread into some great hummus.
