When Eastside Market Italian Deli opened in 1929, it was a butcher shop serving cold cuts to the DTLA community. Now this classic sandwich spot has moved west, opening a second location in the heart of Los Feliz. The layout is pretty similar to the original—a small, order-at-the-counter space suitable for a quick lunch—but the menu here is more expansive. You’ll find classics like the meatball-stuffed Eastside Special and new additions like The Bear, a Chicago-style Italian beef with giardiniera. Raid their dessert case before you leave. The cannolis are incredible.
