Starting a sentence with “The best _ in Singapore is at…” will probably start a fight but here goes: The best pasta in Singapore is at Bar Cicheti. The original Cicheti is a fine spot but this Keong Saik restaurant is the cooler younger brother that went to art school and is now dating an heiress. There’s dark wood, art on the walls, and a light-bulb arch, and the restaurant makes all their pasta by hand, something that isn’t easily found in Singapore. Order half portions to try more, except for the cacio e pepe. That one deserves a full serving and a round of applause to go with it.
