Pestle Rock is doing Thai food differently than everyone else in Seattle. The dishes here are from the Northeast “Isan” region of Thailand, so this is where you come to try something new (like crispy marinated chicken wings coated in Thai chili, and lemony noodles with garlic-steamed pork belly). Take into account the super-friendly staff and cozy, red-brick-covered room, and you might never want to order delivery pad Thai again.

Ray’s doesn’t have the best seafood in Seattle (or even Ballard), but when the sun comes out, the patio here is where you want to be.
You know Paseo, but Un Bien is where you want to be. It’s where the old owners work now, and the Caribbean sandwiches in Ballard are the city’s best.

Bai Tong Thai Restaurant
Bai Tong in Redmond is our favorite place for Thai classics on the Eastside.
Manao is a casual Thai spot in Capitol Hill that has some classic dishes, but also things like pork belly nuggets. They also have a great patio.
Pinto Thai Bistro & Sushi Bar
We like Pinto Bistro for showing us that Thai and sushi go together. We really like it because it’s a great takeout/casual dinner option in Cap Hill.
