King’s Hardware is a fun, dimly-lit bar in Ballard with taxidermy, huge baskets of buffalo wings, alcoholic slushies with rotating flavors (hope for mango lemonade), and two Skee-Ball machines. On the weekends, it’s packed with just the right amount of people so it’s not depressingly empty or super crowded. There are few reasons for you not to spend your night here.
Kangaroo & Kiwi, in an old library building in Ballard, is an Australian-themed dive with games and bar food.
Percy’s is a Southern bar/restaurant in Ballard with a great patio and a lot of bourbon.
Ballard Pizza Company has some of the best New York Pizza in town, and it’s a great spot for a big group hang or casual weeknight meal.
Bramling Cross is an excellent gastropub in Ballard where you could take your parents or a date.
