Broiler Bay Burgers
Included In
Sometimes, you just need to tear through a burger, onion rings, and milkshake filled with pulverized Oreos without any disruptions, and Broiler Bay satisfies that primal human need. This charbroiled burger joint is in a quiet strip mall, and judging from their outdated interior, they probably haven’t updated anything since they opened in 1989. But that doesn’t matter —they serve one of the best charbroiled cheeseburgers in the Seattle metro area. These are juicy, grill-marked, and taste terrific with bacon and fry sauce on one of those huge sesame seed hubcap buns. Chances are you’ll get a wobbly table, but there’s virtually no chance that you’ll run into Beth from spin class who lives in Medina. Unless she’s in on the majesty of the Bay.
Food Rundown
Bacon Cheeseburger
It needs no introduction. But this puck of charred beef with american cheese, crunchy bacon, and cold vegetables on a massive seeded bun always hits the spot, especially if you’re the kind of person who says, “that hits the spot” after a great burger. Cover liberally with fry sauce.
Onion Rings
If (for some reason) you balled all of them in your fist, you’d be able to wring out enough grease from the oily, crackly batter to cook up another order. But fck, if these aren’t some of the best onion rings on the Eastside.
