Souvla’s Nopa location has a big back patio where you can pretend you’re on vacation in the Greek islands. Order at the counter, get some wine while you’re at it, and then sit back and wait for your delicious salad (get the lamb) or gyro.
Straw serves carnival-inspired food (like a burger with donuts for buns) in Hayes Valley. We like the omelets and scrambles here,
The Lunchpad, inside the Noir Lounge in Hayes Valley, serves all-day breakfast and some truly massive sandwiches.
Head to Dyafa in Oakland for Middle Eastern food and great cocktails. Order a lot of pita and small plates.
