Schlok's Bagels & Lox

2301 Fillmore St

San Francisco, CA 94115

Everything Bagel With Scallion Shmear and Lox

Schlok’s Bagels is a pop-up operating on weekends out of The Snug on Fillmore. And the bagels here are something you need to pay attention to - golden-brown and well-seasoned on the outside, and perfectly chewy on the inside. Plus, these bagels are massive. Schlok’s also makes their own buttery, dill-cured lox in-house, which is as fantastic as the bagels themselves. If you’re looking to convert a California bagel skeptic, send them here.

Schlok’s Bagels is a pop-up that used to operate out of The Snug on Fillmore. Their golden-brown bagels are well-seasoned on the outside, and nicely chewy on the inside - and are as delicious as they are massive. They also make a buttery, dill-cured lox in-house that’s fantastic. The bad news: Schlok’s is currently on hiatus while they prep to open a brick-and-mortar in NoPa this summer. But the good news is - they’re opening a brick-and-mortar in NoPa this summer. We’ll keep an eye on their Instagram for updates, and be counting down the days until we can once again get our hands on these bagels.

“Chances are by now, you’ve heard about the bagel article that broke the internet and made for a very entertaining comments section on Instagram. And if you’re anything like me, you were craving a good one after partaking in so much bagel-fueled discourse. Enter: Schlok’s Bagels, a pop-up operating out of The Snug on Fillmore on weekends. They’re perfectly golden-brown, well-seasoned on the outside, and chewy on the inside - plus, they’re massive. Schlok’s also makes their own buttery, dill-cured lox in-house, which is just as fantastic as the bagels themselves. If you’re looking to convert a California bagel skeptic, send them here. Orders go live Wednesdays at 9am online - set an alarm, because they sell out fast.” - JC
