This Cow Hollow cocktail lounge is located directly above the rowdy sports bar the Bus Stop. While the two spots are related (they’re owned by the same people), they’re fundamentally different, like Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus. At Left Door you’re met by a parade of well-dressed people sipping on whiskey sours and lounging on cozy velvet couches—all while being surrounded by floral wallpaper and a series of portraits that look straight from the Louvre. The food matches the extravagant space: think $65 aged wagyu bites, $12 bumps of caviar, and even a valrhona mousse choco taco. They’re all excellent, even if your wallet disagrees.
