When you were a kid, you probably built a blanket fort with your friends. You’d sneak in juice boxes and pretzel sticks, and talk about the important matters of the day, like what the best candy was or whether you wanted to be a space doctor or a giraffe when you grew up. Fool’s Errand on Divis is the adult version of that blanket fort, except instead of Hi-C, they have a good selection of by-the-glass and full bottles of wine. It’s dark inside and has pretty low ceilings, which makes the bar feel like a secret spot, whether you’re at the front by the street or in the more secluded back area. It’s a good spot to come with people for a drink while you wait for your table to open up at any of the restaurants around the block, or even just come to to hang out before you aimlessly walk around the neighborhood wondering if you were onto something with that giraffe idea.
