Technically not in Healdsburg, but a scenic short drive north to the adorable town of Geyserville brings you to Diavola, a rustic Italian restaurant in an old brick building. Pizza, pasta, a really pretty and appropriately rustic cheese plate, and a whole lot of salumi make this place a winner.

Open for outdoor dining. Lunch seating is first come, first serve. Reservations are available for dinner.

Geyserville is a town just north of Healdsburg, and it’s extremely charming. While you’re there, hit this also-charming Italian restaurant for a meat and cheese plate and a glass or two of Brunello. And yes, it’s OK to drink wine that doesn’t come from California. Just this once.
