There’s no bad time to drink a negroni. You can sip on one before dinner (but these days, before breakfast or lunch works, too), or while sitting on your stoop and imagining you’re on the deck of a 100-foot yacht sailing along the Italian coast. Since it’s probably going to be a while until your next vacation, the next best thing is to follow your negroni-seeking heart and order from one of these 10 spots in San Francisco or the East Bay for takeout or delivery.
Looking for another kind of cocktail? Find margaritas, mimosas, Bloody Marys, sangrias, and more in our full SF Delivery & Takeout Alcohol Collection.
If you need an aperitif before every meal today (which, yes, you do), order a large-batch negroni from one of our favorite bars in the Mission. For $72, you get six servings. And their version is a little sweeter as they use a house aperitivi blend instead of Campari. Order here for pick-up.
Balboa is serving the breakfast negroni from Wildhawk in the Mission. What exactly is a breakfast negroni, you ask? The drink is infused with Cocoa Puff vermouth and has chocolate salt bitters stirred in, so you can spend the morning reliving your favorite childhood breakfast memories while also getting drunk. Call 415-921-3944 to order for pick-up, or use apps for delivery.
We like Delarosa because they make pizza. We now like Delarosa even more because they’re offering cocktails to-go. You can order their negroni online for $12 each.
In addition to half-off bottles of wine, the Italian restaurant in Hayes Valley has a variety of cocktails for takeout, including negronis. They come in servings of one ($11) or two ($20). You can order for pick-up or delivery online here.
We never really envisioned a world in which a huge glass bottle of negroni was delivered right to our doorstep, but here we are. Along with negronis (which come in small, medium, or large sizes), Rye is offering pick-up and same-day delivery of all their cocktails, beer, and wine. DM them on Instagram to place an order.
We like the cocktails at Garibaldi’s because they don’t skimp on the alcohol - and that’s one of the biggest gifts we could receive these days. If you’re in need of a strong negroni tonight, order one of theirs for $10. They’re open for takeout Wednesday through Saturday, 4:30-7:30pm.
Negronis are best when sipped, but we won’t judge you for tossing back the negroni from Casements directly from the bottle. For $50, you get eight servings, so it’ll last you all day - or at least until you finish binging Ozark for the night. Order online here.
Loló is also serving a mezcal negroni, in addition to a limited menu. So if you’re tired of gin or are feeling something stiffer (we don’t blame you), they’ve got eight-ounce negronis for $20 each for pick-up.
Magnolia Brewing Co. (at their Dogpatch location only) is offering mezcal negronis in servings of two - negotiable, though, because if you’re anything like us, serving sizes (especially for cocktails) mean literally nothing anymore. Order online for pick-up.
We’re big fans of alternative flavors in our negronis, which is why you should try the one from this Piedmont Ave. restaurant. Their house-made sumac Campari is a great substitute to the near-empty, two-decades-old bottle that’s sitting in your liquor cabinet. They come in servings of two for $20, which you can order online.
The blood orange negronis from Honor in Emeryville come in servings of one or two. They’re open for pick-up every day except Mondays.
This Uptown Oakland Spanish tapas bar is offering both small and large bottles for delivery and pick-up. Get the negroni, which goes perfectly with the patatas bravas and grilled asparagus. Depending on how thirsty you are, you should be able to get six servings out of one large bottle.
The Lao spot on Piedmont Ave. is also serving cocktails to-go, so you can try their lemongrass negroni from your couch. Order one for $10.
If you’ve read this far, you may be tired of seeing the word “negroni” over and over. But if you’ve read this far, you probably really, really love negronis, so here is our last nugget of wisdom for you: Alameda’s Town Tavern is serving white negronis with botanica gin and suze for $10. Call 510-523-1041 to order.
