SF Outdoor Dining Could Resume By The End Of This Week

Mayor London Breed will give SF outdoor dining updates at a 1:15pm press conference on Monday.

Mayor London Breed will give updates on SF outdoor dining at a press conference scheduled at 1:15pm on Monday. The Golden Gate Restaurant Association, a local business group, expects the city to reopen outdoor dining as early as this week, the SF Chroniclereports.

The news comes as Gavin Newsom is expected to lift the regional stay-at-home order in response to improving COVID-19 numbers. Businesses like restaurants will be able to reopen for outdoor dining, but individual counties will, of course, be able to enforce stricter rules.

We’ll update this article as we get more information.
