In the West Village, there’s a big Italian restaurant called Rosemary’s that’s always full of people taking pictures of some unimpressive pasta. Rosemary’s Pizza is from the same owners, and it’s only about a block away. The space is a lot smaller, though, and there’s not much on the menu besides pizza. The pies here are pretty good - they come with toppings like broccoli rabe, stracciatella, and large cubes of guanciale, and the pizza crust is thin, dense, and chewy. While we can’t say we’re huge fans of the Disney-farmhouse aesthetic of this place, it’s a decent option when you just want to have a negroni and eat some pizza with a friend. Know that there will probably be a wait, and they don’t take reservations.
