This cash-only Italian restaurant in East Harlem first opened in 1896, and it still operates as an exclusive supper club full of meatballs and celebrities. There are ten tables - four tables and six booths - and securing one is nearly impossible unless you know a regular with a standing reservation, your name is Jay-Z or Hillary Clinton, or you knock on the door during a blizzard (this actually worked for one of our coworkers).

Rao’s is currently offering their entire menu for takeout. So, for the first time ever, absolutely anyone can try their massive meatballs and clams casino. All you have to do is text the manager Marc.
