Life Pancake Company

Upon first glance, the menu at Life Pancake Company looks like most other diners, with sections ranging from omelettes and waffles to spaghetti with meat sauce and other entrees we’ve never seen anyone order at a diner that closes at 4pm. But when you look at the pancake section, you’ll see that this big Liberty Harbor diner, which is the rebranded Brownstone Diner, is different. Not only do they offer pages of different pancake options, but they also stuff pancakes with things like buffalo fried chicken and blue cheese. Go that route if you want, but know that the giant pancakes with doughy, perfectly undercooked insides are great on their own, and we’d recommend keeping it simple with fresh fruit and syrup.
