Jing Fong

(646) 678-5511

380 Amsterdam Ave

New York, New York 10024

Jing Fong serves all of its classic dim sum dishes for takeout and delivery from its UWS location on 78th and Amsterdam. We especially like the siu mai, fried taro, and bacon-wrapped shrimp during their weekend dim sum, but you can also get some pan-fried noodles and sesame chicken to make your mom’s day even better.

Since Jing Fong’s Chinatown location can better be described in acres rather than square feet, it’s going to take another few weeks to get the space ready for indoor dining. But if you want to eat some great siu mai and fried taro with a roof over your head, you’ll be able to as of Friday, October 2nd. That’s when this classic dim sum spot’s Upper West location adds indoor dining to its current roster of outdoor tables, takeout, and delivery.

The original Jing Fong is a classic dim sum destination up a flight of escalators in Chinatown. Fortunately for everyone who’s afraid of escalators and/or lives on the UWS, there’s a second location at 78th and Amsterdam. Stop by and get some siu mai, beef ribs, and sticky rice for dinner. This place is significantly smaller than the huge downtown version - but it still has plenty of tables (and bar seating), and you can get some pan-fried noodles and sesame chicken to round out your meal.

Jing Fong is serving their classic dim sum at some nice-looking wooden tables outside at 78th and Amsterdam. We especially like the siu mai, fried taro, and bacon-wrapped shrimp during their weekend dim sum, but you can also get some pan-fried noodles and sesame chicken for dinner.

The original Jing Fong is a classic dim sum destination up a flight of escalators in Chinatown. And while that lower Manhattan dining room has unfortunately closed, Jing Fong does have a second location on the UWS at 78th and Amsterdam. Stop by and get some siu mai, beef ribs, and sticky rice for dinner. This place is significantly smaller than the huge downtown location - but it still has plenty of patio tables where you can reenact the Lady and Tramp pasta scene with pan-fried noodles.
