In response to rising Covid cases across the state, Governor Cuomo instated a three-tiered restriction plan. Here’s what each restriction level means for NYC restaurants:
What Does Each Zone Color Mean?
Red: Restaurants in the red zone must stop indoor and outdoor dining, reverting back to delivery and takeout only.
Orange: Restaurants must shut down indoor dining, but are permitted to continue outdoor dining service with a limit of four people per table.
Yellow: The least restrictive zone, restaurants in the yellow are allowed to continue indoor and outdoor dining, as long as they limit tables to a maximum of four diners.
