Sushi Ko is a really good, casual Japanese spot on Bird Road. They offer a lot of sushi options, but you should definitely get some of their cooked dishes on the table too. Any karaage dish is going to be tasty, as well as any fish collar option. Come here next time you want an easy, relatively affordable Japanese meal with some huge Sapporos served in buckets of ice.
Tropical Chinese on Bird Road is our favorite place in Miami for dim sum.
Sushi Erika is a little Japanese restaurant in North Bay Village. There’s almost always a wait because every roll here is delicious.
Katana in North Beach is one of those sushi restaurants where the plates float by on a little stream, and it works great for small groups or dates.
