On The Rocks feels like the Mac’s Club Deuce of North Beach. The narrow dive bar a block away from the beach is a great place to day drink if you’re still in your bathing suit, but it also works for sipping reasonably priced drinks after spending a little more than you planned on dinner. They’re open till 5am every night of the week.
Mac’s Club Deuce is Miami Beach’s best (and oldest) dive bar, with a Happy Hour that goes from 7am to 7pm.
Ted’s is a dive bar in South of Fifth. It’s pretty much the only place in South of Fifth with cheapish beer and no dress code.
Sweet Liberty Drink & Supply Co. in South Beach is where to go for good bar snacks and to day drink.
Gramps is a fun bar in Wynwood with a big patio, excellent drag nights, and surprisingly good pizza out back.
