Miyako South Miami
South Miami’s Miyako loves their regulars so much, they name sushi rolls after them. The Japanese restaurant’s rolls are the size of hockey pucks, so request to have them cut into thinner pieces, which they’ll happily do for you. This place is best when you order strictly from their tiny board of specials. On it, you’ll find things like a delicious spicy tuna crunch roll, which they probably use an entire school of tuna to make. Or the Diana roll that’s topped with crab salad and a perfectly sweet and spicy thai sauce. But you can also have a fine meal here if you don’t eat fish. They make a crispy tonkatsu and an impressively tender wafu steak. Our goal is to come back often enough to have a roll named after us. Yours should be too.
