Bakan

Bakan is a big Mexican restaurant in Wynwood that looks and feels like it could exist in any midsize city in the country. The dining room has a lot of tables, a big colorful cactus you’re not allowed to touch, and a bar that’s half inside and half outside. There’s nothing particularly remarkable about this spot, and nothing particularly Wynwood about it either. They have a big menu with a lot of mezcal, tacos, sopas, and more standard Mexican food. None of it is terrible, but none of it is particularly memorable either.
