Neveria Roxy serves the best ice cream in Mexico City. There are tons of flavors and they’re all excellent - we like the Mexican fruits, like mamey or guanabana. They have a few locations around the city, but the best one is in Polanco, which has a beautiful park nearby to walk around in with your ice cream.
There are too many bakeries to count in this city, but Panadería Rosetta in Roma is one of the best. Get the guava pastry.
You can get churros plenty of places in Mexico City, but none are quite as good as the ones from El Moro.
You'll find one of the best breakfasts in the city in Niddo, a small, indoor/outdoor cafe in the Zona Rosa with a Jewish-leaning menu.
