This wine bar just off Ojai Ave. feels less like a bar and more like that friend’s house you end up at every weekend. The whole place is extremely relaxed - there’s a small inside bar where you can order a glass of prosecco and a cheese and charcuterie plate before grabbing one of patio tables outside. Come here for a pre-dinner drink/hang - they’re only open until 8pm.
Ojai Tortilla House has great Mexican in Ojai, with a small menu of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas.
A bakery run out of a house in Ojai, Kate’s Bread is only open a few days a week and you should probably pre-order your pastries, but it’s worth it.
Boccali’s is a red sauce Italian spot in Ojai with fine pizzas and pasta, good strawberry shortcake, and a fantastic outdoor seating area out back.
Ojai Beverage Company might look like a normal liquor store, but in the back they serve great craft beer and a simple bar menu.
