Pilot is the rooftop restaurant at Downtown LA’s Hoxton Hotel. They’ve got an open-air dining room that’s opens at noon with a snacks menu that features dishes likechicory salad, fried artichoke hearts, and baked ziti. On Friday and Saturdays, they’re open until 11pm. Reserve here.

Lost in all of this year’s chaos is the fact that Downtown got itself another excellent rooftop restaurant with Pilot. Located on top of The Hoxton, this all-day restaurant serves a coastal Mediterranean menu that includes pizza, pasta, and plenty of salads, plus great views of the surrounding neighborhood. There’s also a weekday Happy Hour from 2-6pm with tons of specials and $4 beer.

Even in a year like this, Downtown’s rooftop game continues to expand with the latest addition being Pilot on top of The Hoxton. It’s no secret that many hotel restaurants start to look (and taste) the same after a while, but Pilot stands out for their expansive skyline views, excellent house cocktails, and a solid Mediterranean menu that features everything from black truffle mafaldi to Spanish paella for two.
