M Cafe is one of those places that looks identical to every other healthy-ish, order-at-the-counter spot in LA, but with food that’s just slightly better. The parking at its Melrose location is admittedly horrific, but once you’re inside, it’s fairly serene. The menu is large and wide-ranging with sandwiches, salads, and even some sushi. The yellow curry udon, however, is our favorite. Most importantly, you’ll be in and out in a half hour.
