The breakfasts at The Good Egg are among the best in Stoke Newington. The food’s Middle Eastern-inspired and everything’s good - the egg and bacon pita with date jam is a must-order for your table, as is the cornbread, which is amazing because it basically tastes like cake. To do The Good Egg properly, get a few things to share family-style. It’s also worth noting that it does get very busy at the weekend, so either get up early or prepare for the inevitable queue.
