Southwark Tavern

Most people’s choice of venue for an after-work drink usually incurs existential questions, such as, “how can I get alcohol into my body the fastest?”, or “where can I sit down?”. The Southwark Tavern is a comfy pub near Borough Market and a few metres from London Bridge tube, with loads of room to sit and plenty of space to stand outside if it’s warm. They have tasty burgers on Wednesdays, and perfectly good gastropub dishes in the dining room downstairs.
