Located a few minutes from Bond Street station, Neo Bistro is a casual fine dining restaurant from the Anglo crew serving inventive dishes that may look like fiddly food art but happen to taste excellent. There’s a smoked eel and lamb dish, which is a bit like your filthiest surf and turf dreams made reality, and a plate of pigeon and lentil that’s very good, too. The room feels like a West End members' club crossed with a pub in Shoreditch, and at £35 for five courses of interesting food, it’s a good place to try something high-end without having to eat beans on toast for the rest of the month.
