Granger and Co. runs three Australian restaurants in London, and the Kings Cross location is their third Location. The menu’s the same as at the other two venues, and it’s full of the kind of fresh salads, sandwiches, small plates and main dishes that you’d find at a cool cafe in Sydney - think shrimp burgers, ricotta hotcakes, and plenty of stuff with avocado. Their ‘bowls’ and sandwiches are the best lunches, while at dinner we like to put a meal together from small plates and salads. None of it is exactly cheap, but the food’s consistently good. And the wine list starts at prices that are very reasonable for the area.
