Admit it: the UK’s only 100 per cent certified organic pub had to be in Islington. If it were Ealing or even Clapham, you’d have been disappointed. Right? The sense of N1 worthiness may make you cringe, but eating here is fun. Yes, it’s on the expensive side – but organic never came cheap. The place looks like your standard gentrified London pub, with enormous windows on two sides of the corner space giving it a nice glow during the day. Want to save the planet, one pint at a time? The only way is in Islington.
