Daze
Despite having an aggressively high density of coffee shops, Hackney lacks places where you can get work done. Enter Daze, a breezy, foliage-filled loft cafe near London Fields. The music is quiet enough for surprise Zoom calls, and the coffee is taken a bit seriously but also excellent. When you get hungry, order a toastie with double cheese and double hot sauce then sink into one of the comfy sofas next to the plug points. At the weekend, it’s a great coffee date spot and a welcome respite from the Broadway Market chaos.
