Bokan 39 (Bokan)
Bokan feels like a chilled bar you’d be very happy to stumble on in town, except that it’s 37 floors up a skyscraper in the Docklands. The views are absolutely gobsmacking, and given the lofty location, prices for drinks are actually totally decent. It gets busy with the local after-work crowd after 5pm as well as a few strays who’ve come for the views, so book a table ahead if you want to nab a window seat. The outdoor terrace is as good as it looks come summer, and there’s also a full restaurant a floor below (helpfully, with quieter noise levels) if you want a splurge.
