Bodega Rita’s is a wardrobe-sized space in Coal Drops Yard doing a lot more than storing that jacket you’ve been meaning to sell for five years. This sandwich shop (cum deli cum night time wine bar thing) serves nice subs in the day and little things by night. We’re not really ones to eat in a wardrobe, so we recommend popping by in the morning for a breakfast of miso scrambled eggs, or a mortadella and provolone sub.

Barrafina Coal Drops Yard
Barrafina is London tapas royalty. And although we wouldn’t class their King’s Cross spot as legendary, there’s still good food to be had.
Granger & Co. King's Cross
Like the others, the King’s Cross location of Granger & Co has healthy-ish salads, sandwiches, and small plates perfect for breakfast and lunch.

Duck & Waffle Local
Duck and Waffle’s second location doesn’t have spectacular views, nor is it open 24 hours, but it’s a solid low risk option in Piccadilly.
Dirty Bones Carnaby
Dirty Bones is a New York influenced restaurant serving mostly mediocre American dishes, but the lamb topped fries are its saving grace.
