St. Felix Place Is London's Newest Al Fresco Spot

Timing is everything and clearly the people behind outdoor-mega-space Flat Iron Square know that as their latest project, St. Felix Place, opens near Borough Market on Wednesday. As in Wednesday 14th April, two days after we’re all allowed to eat and drink and complain ‘it’s actually quite cold outside isn’t it’ again.

In terms of eating and drinking, you’ve got booze (in the shape of a brewery and taproom run by Lagunitas), you’ve got BBQ (by Bermondsey spot Texas Joe’s) and you’ve got pizza (from the Good Slice). There’ll be live music and other normal life stuff too. Check out their website for details and bookings.

Spring Farm Shop & Florist Will Open in Notting Hill

Sky Gyngell, head chef at acclaimed Somerset House restaurant Spring is opening a farm shop and florist in Notting Hill next month. This incarnation of the restaurant will sell dishes like poached chicken with sourdough dumplings, as well as freshly baked goods, and natural wine selected by Spring’s sommelier. There’ll be a coffee counter too, plus a load of fresh produce and products from Fern Verrow farm in Herefordshire and Heckfield Home Farm in Hampshire.

Freak Scene (RIP) Are Selling Limited Edition Meal Kits

Fallen loud and proud Soho restaurant Freak Scene is back, at least in the comfort of your own home, in the shape of limited edition meal kits. There are three on offer and yes, they do include those chilli crab wonton bombs as well as dishes like tom yum fried rice and char siu celeriac bao buns.
