Located about 20 minutes from the Strip in Desert Shores, Rooster Boy is a small cafe serving breakfast all day. It’s the type of place you set an early alarm and sneak out with one other person for, because seating is very limited - there’s basically just one table, a few counter seats on the inside, and one table directly outside. The chilaquiles are outstanding and the dutch oven pancake with seasonal fruit (served all day until close at 3pm) is our favorite thing here. And when your friends do wake up, tell them that you went on a run and figured no one would want to join anyway. Just make sure you get all the powdered sugar off your face first.
