The Altitude bar does serve food—a selection of light salads and Tex-Mex snacks—but most people here are lounging in a rented cabana or sourcing some necessary vitamin D between conference breakout rooms at the George R. Brown Convention Center. If you aren’t a hotel guest, a pool pass costs $75 plus tax, which gets you an all-day access to a chlorinated paradise.
