Omakase Yume in the West Loop is one of the best sushi restaurants in the city, but unless we randomly find $185 hiding in our couch cushions, casually grabbing a meal there isn't really an option. Luckily their more affordable spot, TenGoku Aburiya, is right next door. The nigiri, sahimi, and maki are all reasonably priced, plus they have a great selection of kushiyaki if you want to add some grilled skewers to your meal. Their softly-lit dining area can get busy, but the relaxed atmosphere works well for date night or a solo meal at the sushi bar.
