Suda’s is a family-owned and operated restaurant in Lincoln Park serving tasty Lebanese food.  While there’s a 99% chance that the pita and chocolate cake are pre-packaged, everything else here tastes housemade and fresh. Cold mezze, like the hummus or baba ghanouj, are barely seasoned, and will make sure you know you’re getting your recommended serving of vegetables. The falafel is crisp without being oily. Entrees are heavier, and focus on grilled meats and seafood, including tender and smoky beef kabobs and flavorful shish taouk. The small space feels a little nicer than casual (unless your table is in front of where those kabobs are being grilled). But that’s nothing an order of Lebanese coffee, which comes in a charming formal coffee set, can’t fix.
