Soule To Soule

This place comes from the team behind Soulé, a soul food spot brimming with Feel Good Factor™ in North Lawndale. The new iteration in West Town is BYOB (with a mocktail menu full of mixers) and serves its soul food in tapas-like portions. So expect little plates like smoky jerk chicken wings, and biscuits and gravy with pull-apart layers you’ll hold up to the light just to marvel at the flakiness. But the great food is not the main reason to come here. Soule to Soule is about hanging out and talking—each little table has a box to put your phone in, full of conversation-starting cards (would you rather be a side chick or a wife?) and the velvet seats are meant for lounging. They also have theme nights (like ladies night, hip hot trivia night, and small business night), which you can find on their Instagram.
