Where we've featured it
Of course we wouldn’t leave out Orso’s in the classic Italian category of Old Town. Orso’s is similar to Topo Gigio in style and ambience, but the service is a little more formal. It has a red sauce-heavy menu, but what really sets Orso’s apart is its enclosed back patio that feels like a garden. It’s a great spot for a laid-back summer dinner.
Orso’s is also in Old Town, and we like it for a lot of the same reasons we like Topo Gigio - it’s casual and comfortable, with plenty of easy Italian-American options like spaghetti with meatballs and chicken vesuvio. But the main reason we go to Orso’s is its outdoor patio, which makes us feel like we’re in The Secret Garden. That said, it’s a solid choice all year.
