La Encantada

This quiet Mexican sit-down restaurant could pretty easily transform into a small art gallery (with a fully stocked bar) with its walls of abstract paintings spotlighted by ceiling lamps. But the reason for this nearly twenty-year-old spot’s longevity is their delicious food. The tacos and burritos are good, but the best dishes are specialties like cheesy chiles rellenos or any of the eight different enchilada dinners with sauces like smoky mole. Just a heads up: La Encantada doesn't take credit cards. But if you forgot to hit up an ATM, you can also Venmo them.
