We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. As you know, many cities around the world have limited restaurants and bars to takeout and delivery, and others are in the process of reopening. We’re continuing to update our site with the latest information about restaurant reopenings, guides to getting something great to eat at home, and community resources to help support the restaurant industry. Stay tuned, and stay well.

J.J. Thai Street Food

(312) 929-4435

1715 W Chicago Ave

Chicago, IL 60622

JJ’s specialty is Thai street food and it’s fantastic. You can expect dishes like khao mun gai (with a delicious dipping sauce), satay, and incredibly spicy noodle soups. The kitchen here is small, so there might be a wait for your delivery or pickup, but it’s 100% worth it.

The guay tiew nam sood borann at J.J. Thai in West Town has charred pork, chicken, and a sweet and sour broth, and we’re convinced it’s way better for a cold than chicken noodle soup. So if you’ve gone through three boxes of tissues and half a package of Mucinex, order this. At the very least, all of the flavors are bold enough that you’ll still be able to taste everything even when you’re so stuffed up you can’t breathe.

JJ’s is a very small, casual, BYOB restaurant. Their specialty is Thai street food, so you can expect dishes like khao mun gai (chicken with rice) and gai satay (chicken on skewers). The food is a little pricey, but it’s worth it. Come here with a friend and a bottle of wine.

JJ’s is a very small, casual, slightly pricey restaurant in West Town. Their specialty is Thai street food, so you can expect dishes like khao mun gai (chicken with rice) and gai satay (chicken on skewers), all of which are very good. And very spicy - so bring enough of your chosen drink to keep your tongue from burning up.
