Guthrie’s is probably best known for its wall of board games, and that definitely helps make it one of the best first date spots in the city. But the cozy atmosphere, solid selection of craft beer, and screened-in back porch also help. It’s an oasis of calm that’s rare this close to Wrigley Field, and a great place to hang out for hours at a time.
